Budget-friendly party supplies are a very important part of any party, because the more you can save on these items, the more money you’ll have for really important things like food! The Dollar Tree is my number one go-to store to buy a lot of my party supplies not only because they are cost-effective but they also offer a great variety of items. Here are my favorite must-haves for any party that are found at your local Dollar Tree:
Best Dollar Tree Party Supply #1: Serving Trays and Serving Utensils
If you need serving items for the party you’re hosting, definitely get them at Dollar Tree. They have high-quality, sturdy trays in clear plastic, a variety of colors, or even silver finishes.
The serving utensils, both disposable and not, are also a great find from Dollar Tree. My favorite is the plastic miniature tongs. They are perfect for all the appetizers, meat, and cheese trays, and desserts.
Best Dollar Tree Party Supply #2: Vases
I love the selection of vases and glassware at Dollar Tree! They have so many shapes and sizes of plain glass vases that you’re bound to find what you need. I use them for centerpieces of flowers or candles, fill them with party trinkets, or candies. They definitely look far more expensive than $1.25 each!
Best Dollar Tree Party Supply #3: Candy & Treats
I love to do candy and treat bars at my parties and Dollar Tree makes it so much cheaper! I usually try to follow the theme (Swedish fish candy and goldfish crackers for an ocean theme, peanuts, and bubble gum for the baseball theme, etc..) Dollar Tree sells a huge variety of candies and treats that you will easily be able to grab all the sugary snack items you may need.
PRO TIP: Buy the large movie-size boxes of candy and put them together with popcorn and a cute popcorn bucket for an easy prize if you have games to play and need a fun prize for the winner!
Best Dollar Tree Party Supply #4: Favor Bags and Gift Bags
I never purchase gift bags anywhere else! They have SO many colors and designs that you’ll definitely find something you like.
I love to use their small-size bags for party favors at my kids’ parties. Because they come in multi-packs, they’re perfect for your party budget too. Dress them up with a tag or ribbon that fits the theme of the party and I promise they will be an adorable addition to your event without breaking the bank! (p.s. Best Dollar Tree Party Supply #5: Balloons
If you need helium balloons for any celebration, this is the place to get them. Anywhere else you will see helium balloons cost $4-$6 each, but they’re just $1.25 at Dollar Tree!
I also like to buy the plain mylar balloons here as they offer a great selection of sizes, colors, and fun patterns such as polka dots or tye-dye prints.
Best Dollar Tree Party Supply #6: Paper Party Decorations
Visit your local Dollar tree and they are sure to have a variety of party-themed banners and signs. I have seen Mermaid, Lego, superhero, princess, and dinosaurs to name a few. Definitely check them out first before going to another party store and spending way more. Streamers also come in 2-packs at Dollar Tree, making them very affordable, and they are such a fun party supply because you can do so many things with them! Think outside the box- create a fun photo backdrop or recreate our fun octopus like I did for our daughters’ mermaid party.
